2007 - the Buffalo Jugglers' year in review, submitted by Jerry House
February 17
- Several of us perform at Shanghai Red's Restaurant for the American Cancer Society. The party has a Mardi-Gras theme. No one was hurt (that we know of).
March 7
- Several of us host a demonstration for Buffalo Clown Alley, of which our very own Paul Antonio is the Vice President. No one was hurt (that we know of).
April 14
- The Buffalo Jugglers donate $250 to Kenmore United Methodist Church. (a slight hurt to our pocketbooks)
April 28
- Over thirty people affiliated with the Buffalo Jugglers show up at the RIT Spring Juggle-In. (Jerry counted)
May 19
- Several of us perform at a Boy Scouts Centenial Camperall held in Niagara State Park. Several people were intentionally hurt so that the Boy Scouts could earn their First Aid merit badges.
June 2
- Several of us perform at Niagara Community College at the finish line of the American Diabetes Association Tour-de-Cure event. Dave's homemade poster serves as an inspiration to get a nicer one. No one was hurt (that we know of).
June 15
- Several of us perform at the Iroquois Central School for the American Cancer Society Relay for Life. We demand (cordially, yet firmly) that we be allowed to perform on the center field, and not on the sub-par "Stage 2". Our demands are met, and no one was hurt (that we know of).
June 16
- World Juggling Day. Nels submits an article to the IJA regarding Buffalo's turnout, and receives a set of Flair bottles that he generously donates to the club. Channel 7 television also covers the event.
June 22
- Steve is hurt, has minor surgery.
June 24
- Several of us perform at Lucarrelli's Banquet Hall in Lackawanna at a fundraiser for a family that recently lost someone to cancer. The Buffalo Jills also attend.
July 11
- The Buffalo Jugglers get a nice new banner. Tim volunteers the use of his camera equipment to use as a stand for the banner. No one was hurt (that we know of).
July 13
- Several of us perform at the Albright Knox Art Gallery, as part of the "Gusto in the Gallery" promotion. We make enough money ($100) to cover the cost of the banner. No one was hurt (that we know of).
July 28
- Several of us perform at Evangola State Park for the Friends of Evangola State Park Pirate Festival. We also learn, via Tim, that you may be able to get into an event for free simply by saying "Excuse me, I'm a member of the Buffalo Jugglers". No one was hurt (that we know of).
August 4
- Tim and Carol host the annual summer picnic. No one was hurt (that we know of).
August 12
- Several of us perform at the Leisurewood Campground for a benefit for the Ismalia Shrine Center Travel Unit. No one was hurt (that we know of), although the support system holding up the banner gets destroyed when a strong gust of wind knocks it over.
August 13
- Hey, we're on TV! Channel 7 films a short story on the Buffalo Jugglers, which airs on Labor Day weekend. Several people watch it.
September 15
- Several of us perform in the HSBC Arena's Lobby, for the American Heart Association's American Heart Walk. No one was hurt (that we know of).
September 20
- The Buffalo Photography Meetup (BPM) asks to photograph jugglers. Due to the inclement weather, only three jugglers show up. The BPM provides five photographers.
Late October
- We switch our juggling night from Thursday to Wednesday, in hopes of attracting members of the local AA meeting at KUMC.
November 21
- Several of us perform for St. Mary's School for the Deaf. Members of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra (BPO) also attend. No one was hurt (that we know of).
December 2
- Since the gig at St. Mary's went well, several of us decide to do a show with the BPO at the Eastern Hills Wesleyan Church with the BPO, in front of about 1800 people. No one was hurt (that we know of).
December 16
- Another show with the BPO at Kleinhan's Music Hall is cancelled, due to the BPO wanting top billing. (Also, the weather was bad)
December 29
- Several of us hold our final Buffalo Jugglers meeting for 2007. Jerry hurts his finger passing clubs.
